Until the death

This Artwork in done on a particular kind of paper, in my language is called
" Rullo Sonoro". In the past, It was used to play music.

For this project i collaborate, with other artists, every one of us have his
" Rullo Sonoro", where to create his artwork.

It's a work on commission.
For the future will be an exhibition, with all these Artworks….

 The title of my artwork is:  " Until the death "

The red part with the roses is one of my artwork on canvas,
that i cut out for cover the inside part of the box,
that holds the " Rullo Sonoro ".

To decide what draw on it, i found the music of the Rullo Sonoro.
I was lucky, i find the music to listen and i discovered that it's a composition about a love story.
The classic story about three lovers; there are two men that love the same woman and she loves the two men, and doesn't know who choose!

I decided to drawing something near this story; in my artwork there are three characters: a man that embodies the wind, one that embodies the sea and she that embodies the nature, and i decide to add also a fourth character, the Fire, that i paint like a skull, he looks like the Death.

In my story these four characters are a symbol of the four elements that fight each other for love.

Bad Moon Rising series

About it …

I used a few songs between my favorites, to take inspiration for this project.
I wish to create a connection between old a new, between what i was and who i am now.
I took the drawing lines of my old artworks mixed with a new graphic composition.

All the project has a dark atmosphere, in order with the lyrics of the songs that i used.

The first song that i choose is  " Bad Moon Rising " by Mourning Ritual
for this reason i decide to call this project : Bad Moon Rising series

While the second song is " Come Join The Murder " by The White Buffalo & The Forest Rangers.

Here i show you only a few details because the project is a work in progress ……
